Girlguiding UK provides a Module based Training and Assessment Opportunity: "Camp and Holiday Scheme" which covers all aspects of preparing and running a Residential Event within Guiding. The book can be purchased via Regional Shops, Trading or Local Depots/Shops.

Any Guider wishing to participate in the any of the Modules in the "Camp and Holiday Scheme" will need to fill out the relevant form, speak with her District Commissioner and Division Guide & Senior Section Adviser to gain approval. The form is then sent through to us and we will organise for a mentor to be appointed. Your mentor should then meet with you and identify your training requirements before assisting you in planning your event. Your mentor will assess your event or they will organise for another suitable person to assess you.

Any Senior Section Member wishing to participate in the any of the Modules in the "Senior Section Permit" will need to fill out the relevant form, speak with her Unit or Young Leader Guider, District Commissioner and Division Guide & Senior Section Adviser to gain approval. The form is then sent through to us and we will organise for a mentor to be appointed. Your mentor should then meet with you and identify your training requirements before assisting you in planning your event. Your mentor will assess your event or they will organise for another suitable person to assess you.
